Job Summary
Assist in determining electro-cerebral silence and perform diagnostic tests that record brain waves using an instrument. Operate equipment safely and correctly while performing preventative maintenance reports on all functions. Document the working condition of the digital EEG instrument and maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation of nursing care for team integration. Assist in performing EMGs or nerve conduction testing as assigned. Comply with all HR policies, specifically the Code of Conduct and Patient Rights Policies, and complete work assignments on time. Participate in Performance Improvement Activities as directed by the PI representative.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Proficiency in performing EEG testing on multiple patients
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
- Must be able to lift and carry 40-50 lbs
- Must be able to push/pull patients on bed
- Must be able to perform lateral transfers up to 50 lbs of the patient's weight
- Must be able to walk 8-10 miles per shift
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to squat
- Must be able to perform CPR
