Job Summary
Instructors will teach a Neuroanatomy camp curriculum to students in a hands-on, activity-based setting across in-person and online formats. Responsibilities include delivering the EU curriculum, supervising campers online or in person, organizing and leading classroom labs, tracking student work and delivering deliverables to the camp director, and assisting with field trips, evening supervision, and mentor-style guidance. In-person roles involve supervising students on and off-campus, while online roles require coordinating labs remotely via Zoom and Google Classroom. Instructors should be mature, reliable, and able to work collaboratively with staff, support health and safety of students, and help fulfill instructional objectives. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred), 2+ years of neuroanatomy teaching or subject-matter knowledge, experience with HS or younger university students, and a passion for science education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; preference given to advanced degree
- 2+ years' experience teaching neuroanatomy or significant subject matter knowledge
- Experience teaching high school or younger university students in an academic setting
- Ability to teach online via Zoom and manage Google Classroom
