Job Summary
Provide specialized inpatient care for patients recovering from brain, spine, and ENT surgeries on the 25-bed Neurosurgery Unit at Mercy Hospital St Louis. Manage complex surgical cases and support patients through every stage of recovery, including trach and thyroid procedures. Work flexible day, night, or weekend shifts as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- BSN
- current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Missouri
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- current LPN license within the hiring state
- meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire
