Job Summary
Provide specialized inpatient care for patients recovering from brain, spine, and ENT surgeries on the 25-bed Neurosurgery Unit at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Manage complex surgical cases and support patients through every stage of recovery, including trach and thyroid procedures. Deliver hands-on nursing care for both RN and LPN roles, with openings available for new graduates, day shifts, nights, and weekend rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- BSN
- Current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Missouri
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- LPN-IV Certification previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire
