Job Summary
Assist patients in rehabilitation and medical recovery while maintaining facility aesthetics and cleanliness. Execute direct patient care, housekeeping, cooking, and nurse delegation tasks, including engaging patients in daily living and therapist-directed activities. Collaborate with the transdisciplinary team to follow patient plans of care, promote education, and help patients achieve goals across home, therapy, and community environments. Support meal planning, food preparation, and grocery shopping, while managing suite inventory and housekeeping. Ensure patient safety by reviewing weekly residential recommendations and adhering to assigned supervision levels. Requires BLS certification, a valid driver's license, and experience in assisted living or rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- Current high school diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Current State Driver's License in good standing
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of experience in an assisted living or rehabilitation environment
- Experience with brain injury population
- Ability to delegate and problem solve effectively
