Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for pre and postoperative neurosurgical, neuro-medicine, and stroke patients in a 21-bed progressive care unit. Deliver bedside, central monitoring, and telemetry services while educating patients and families on illness management and home care needs. Collaborate with neurologists, nurse practitioners, and a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans and ensure regulatory compliance in a safety-sensitive environment. Work three 12-hour night shifts (7p to 7a) with a weekend requirement every third weekend.
