Job Summary
Conduct patient-focused care for neurological cancers while developing clinical trials and translational research programs. Work closely with leadership in the Cancer Center, Neurology, Medical Oncology/Hematology, Neurosurgery, and Radiation Oncology to further develop the Neuro-Oncology program. Additional leadership opportunities may be available based on experience. The successful candidate must be a physician-scientist with formal training in neuro-oncology and BC/BE in either medical oncology/hematology or neurology. California residency is required upon start date; this opportunity is not eligible for a Conrad 30 waiver. Faculty members are eligible for federal student loan forgiveness programs.
Required Qualifications
- physician-scientist
- significant interest and skills in both the care of patients with neurological cancers and the development of clinical trials and translational research programs for these patients
- completed formal training in neuro-oncology
- BC/BE in either medical oncology/hematology or neurology
- California residency
