Neuro ICU Registered Nurse - Days

Neuro ICU Registered Nurse on a 3x12-hour day shift (7a–7p) at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within standards of nursing care. Collaborates with neurologists and neurosurgeons to care for patients with complex neurological conditions (e.g., traumatic brain injuries, strokes, brain tumors, spinal cord injuries) and develops individualized plans of care with defined goals. Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educates on post-treatment home care and medications, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Ensures clear communication across the care continuum and supports ongoing professional development. A nursing diploma/associate's degree is required; BSN preferred; ICU experience preferred; RN license required. This is a safety-sensitive position with scheduling that includes weekend commitments.
