Provide comprehensive neuro-critical care at outpatient clinics and affiliated hospitals, managing critically ill neurological patients and stroke consults. Teach and mentor neurology residents and medical students while engaging in research, scholarly activities, and institutional service. Ensure HIPAA and billing compliance while adhering to institutional policies. This faculty role supports TTUHSC El Paso's mission as a leading academic medical center on the U.S.-Mexico border, dedicated to bilingual healthcare education and research within a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O.
- Board Certification in Neurology (ABPN)
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency
- Completion of a Neuro-Critical Care Fellowship
- Texas medical license (or eligibility)
