Job Summary
Neuro Critical Care Physician needed for locum tenens coverage at a Level I trauma center in northern Georgia. The assignment requires board-certified MD or DO in Neurocritical Care to cover Neuro ICU with 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts, 7 days a week, handling 10-18 patients daily, 2-3 admissions, and performing rounding and consults within the Neuro ICU. Procedures and code response in the Neuro ICU are required; EPIC EMR is used; privileging takes 30-60 days and licensure must already be in place. This is an on-site position in Gordon, GA with no call requirement. Medical Critical Care and anesthesia support are available; APP support is inconsistent.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified in Neurocritical Care
- MD or DO in Neurocritical Care
- Neurocritical Care board certification preferred/noted as required in posting
- Licensure already in place for Georgia
