Job Summary
Provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and medically complex patients in the neuro-intensive care unit, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including EEG services, neurology consultants, and fellowship-trained neuro-intensivists. Deliver independent and collaborative clinical services while managing scheduling that includes night shifts, some weekend coverage, and on-call rotations. Maintain current certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Emergency Neurological Life Support, along with DEA registration and Medicare billing credentials. This role supports Exceed Medical's mission of improving lives through innovation and expanding access via seamless virtual care.
Required Qualifications
- board certified and licensed Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant/Associate
- National Provider Identifier (NPI), or obtain NPI, prior to employment start date and meet current Medicare requirements for billing
- current DEA Registration with schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 and State issued prescribing authority
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Emergency Neurological Life Support (ENLS)
- Night shift
- Some weekend required
- some on call shifts required

Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience of working at least one (1) year in the neuro-critical care setting as a NP or PA or neuro ICU experience as a RN
