Job Summary
Lead on-site Networking Administrator for the O'Hare Airport site within Collins Aerospace/RTX; accountable for overall local network, server and desktop hardware maintenance, system support, and escalation of issues. Serve as primary customer liaison with airlines and Airport Authority; ensure continual compliance with SLAs and reporting; review technical and customer specifications to recommend best-value solutions. Manage on-site policies/procedures, interface with senior management on project status, and supervise site technicians including staffing, performance, and training (SIDA/SIDA training and certifications required). Requires experience in airport/airline technical field and familiarity with Common Use Terminal Equipment (CUTE) software; strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; MS Office proficiency preferred.
Required Qualifications
- University degree (or advanced degree) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Obtain and maintain SIDA badge and SIDA training including STA
- Fingerprint-based CHRC for access to Federally regulated areas
- Experience in Airport or Airline Industry Technical Field
- Experience with CUTE (Common Use Terminal Equipment) application software
- Experience cultivating and maintaining client relationships with service providers, stakeholders, and key airport partners, ensuring communication, collaboration, and the delivery of services.
