Job Summary
Lead and optimize critical transportation provider partnerships as the Network Vendor Manager at SafeRide Health. Drive performance and growth of the provider network by managing relationships, conducting performance reviews, and collaborating cross-functionally. Responsible for mentoring a team of Network Specialists, aligning vendor goals with company performance expectations, and ensuring compliance with standards. Ideal candidates will have vendor management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and experience in healthcare or non-emergency medical transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of vendor management experience
- Demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders and driving performance outcomes
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience monitoring and managing performance metrics (e.g., SLAs, scorecards, KPIs)
- Ability to think strategically and align actions with broader organizational goals
- Experience negotiating with external partners
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for provider meetings
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in healthcare, health plans, Medicaid/Medicare, or non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT)
- Experience working cross-functionally with multiple internal teams (e.g., operations, compliance, customer experience)
- Prior people management experience (direct management of employees preferred)
- Experience working with provider networks, logistics, or service delivery operations
