Job Summary
Provide network infrastructure maintenance and upgrades, diagnose hardware/software issues, monitor LAN/WAN connectivity, manage wireless networks, and support users under the direction of the Network Manager. Responsibilities include upgrading hardware/software, maintaining switches/ wireless APs/UPS units, troubleshooting hardware vs software issues, ensuring compliance with policies and safety guidelines, and performing related duties as assigned. Skills include subnetting, VLAN configuration, Active Directory, troubleshooting across networked systems, and strong communication to assist non-technical users. Primarily an office role with occasional fieldwork in Mobile, AL.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Technology OR two (2) years of experience installing and maintaining network hardware/software
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Microsoft and Cisco certifications preferred
- Experience in Windows Server 2012/2016 domain environments strongly preferred
