Job Summary
Install and maintain computer/network hardware, including Ethernet cabling and switches. Manage PBX phone systems, campus security equipment, and cellular devices. Troubleshoot software and cybersecurity incidents while providing end-user training and support. Candidates should possess strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills with a focus on teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Technical Degree in Computer Science / Network Engineering or related field required
- 2-3 years experience in Information Systems related field preferred
- Experience utilizing current Microsoft Operating System and Office Systems required
- Experience in running and terminating CAT5 & 6 Ethernet cables to workstations and switches strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong documentation skills
- Detailed oriented and able to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to work at heights using ladders and Mobile Elevated Work Platform as accompanied by authorized personnel
