Network Technician

Job Summary
Investigate faults, outages, and issues in the multi-state network while developing and executing test plans to check infrastructure and system performance. Respond to incoming calls and verify customer-related issues, documenting incidents by creating tickets with complete information following SLA guidelines. Troubleshoot, analyze, and research to resolve repeating issues and complex problems, developing procedures to prevent future occurrences. Enforce policies for standardizing systems and report network status to key stakeholders. Requires a degree in Computer Science or Engineering or documented field experience, with a competitive salary, 401K matching, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience in networking, IT, or other related field
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to identify reoccurring problems and find root cause solutions
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Ability to document requirements and specifications
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or documented in field work experience
