Job Summary
Network Technician 4 at Telos Corporation supporting DoD clientele with design, deployment, and operation of wired/wireless LANs and IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, site surveys for device placement, installation and configuration of networks, ongoing operation and security of IT environments, network performance testing, troubleshooting, IP space management, collaboration on base configurations, and documentation. Must meet DoD clearance requirements, be compliant with DoD 8570 IAT Level I or II, have general networking experience, and possess strong technical writing skills. Experience with Aruba networking equipment is a plus; role requires 24/7 support with shift/weekend work. The position demands US citizenship, drug screening, and compliance with E-Verify. ”,
Required Qualifications
- High School plus specialized training, and 6+ yrs of experience
- DoD Secret or Public Trust clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT Level I or Level II compliant
- CCNA or CWNP certifications a plus
- Experience in general networking and network administration, upgrade and operations
- Knowledge of TR, CAT 6, crimps, wiring standards
- BICSI certification a plus
- Must be able to drive a vehicle
- Ability to climb a 10ft ladder and lift at least 40lbs
