Job Summary
Provide first-level technical support for network-related issues, troubleshooting LAN, WAN, and WiFi connectivity problems while responding to user requests and incidents within SLA. Assist in maintaining routers, switches, and firewalls, including configuring access points and optimizing basic WiFi coverage. Monitor network performance, report issues, and log all resolutions. Support network setup for new users, devices, and locations, escalating complex technical problems when needed. Follow standard troubleshooting procedures and IT security policies to ensure secure access to network resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support or networking
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with network devices (routers, switches, access points)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication and user-facing skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a team
- Basic knowledge of network security
Desired Qualifications
- CCNA (or currently studying)
- CompTIA Network+
