Job Summary
Network Systems Administrator responsible for the operability, integration and physical integrity of the airport's network-related systems, including data centres, data rooms, two-way radio systems, and the airfield's Instrument Landing System. Liaises with subcontractors and vendors, coordinates network projects, maintains cabling infrastructure, patch management, and stays up-to-date with aviation-network standards (ICAO, EASA, WMO). Requires knowledge of data centres, fibre-optic infrastructure, and security/ELV systems, with professional certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CompTIA Network+) considered advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Networks, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in network administration, data centres, structured cabling, and fibre-optic infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of network systems, communication rooms, patch management, and two-way radio systems.
- Experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure and related systems.
- Ability to coordinate projects and liaise effectively with contractors, vendors, and support service providers.
- Professional networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ (advantage).
