Job Summary
Provide 2nd-level maintenance and support for an enterprise-level Cisco LAN/WAN system, including after-hours coverage. Assist the primary Telephony System Administrator with enterprise Cisco Telephony support and manage the Internet Perimeter infrastructure, covering firewall administration, web-filtering, multi-factor authentication, and secure file transfer. Pro-actively monitor data and voice networks to maximize availability, review system and security logs, and document all detected problems into the IT call tracking system. Create system models, specifications, and operational procedures while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Support IS Department projects and refer sales opportunities to other departments. Requires a bachelor's degree, five years of enterprise network experience, and the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and travel to bank sites.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of five years of proven information technology experience supporting an enterprise data and voice network
- Cisco Certified Network Technician (CCNT)
- Minimum five years of proven work experience supporting industry standard hardware components including servers and blade systems
- Self-directed, able to prioritize and effectively handle multiple incidents at a time under high-pressure and challenging situations
- Dedicated team player with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the company
- Proven deductive logic, complex problem solving and trouble shooting skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Regular travel to bank sites
- Schedule flexibility and be able to work extended hours and weekends
