Job Summary
Senior Network Storage Engineer responsible for SAN fabric administration and deployment, connectivity and performance operations, incident management, and operational compliance within SEC ISS environments. Collaborates with Enterprise Operations Center and infrastructure teams to support 24x7x365 monitoring, incident response, and service restoration; ensures SAN network performance, capacity planning, documentation, and change control. Requires hands-on expertise with Cisco MDS and Cisco Nexus, SAN fabric configuration, storage- and backup-related connectivity, on-call support, and the ability to travel or relocate within 2–3 hours of Washington, DC for in-person collaboration as needed. Preferred qualifications include CCNP Data Center, NetApp experience, ITIL 4 Foundation, and DR/COOP experience.
Required Qualifications
- Citizenship/Work Authorization: Must meet contract requirements
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain SEC Public Trust (or higher if required)
- Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in data center network administration for storage area networks (SANs)
- Experience: Experience working with Cisco MDS and Cisco Nexus platforms
- Certification: CCNA Data Center Certification or equivalent
