Job Summary
Perform complex computer system support work which involves installing, configuring and supporting an organization's LAN and network computer systems. Maintain network hardware and software. Travel to Windham campuses to provide computer system support and network management as needed. Install, configure and troubleshoot computer hardware and software; monitor and solve IT incidents; assist users with passwords and access to network services; install and troubleshoot LAN components such as routers, hubs, switches, and servers; assist with backups and server reboots; participate in developing Help Desk procedures and maintain confidentiality per policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, management information systems or related field
- Two years full-time wage-earning network support experience
- Experience substitutions: Each year over two years may be substituted for thirty semester hours; technical or trade school courses may substitute for semester hours
- Personal technology enabling remote work
