Job Summary
Perform a full network assessment including architecture/design, managed network services arrangement, and produce a future state roadmap with documented best practices for network and security operations. Responsibilities include evaluating current network state against best practices, developing solutions for network improvements, and providing structured recommendations to increase the reliability of network operations encompassing Wide Area and Local Area networks.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in networking and security
- Experience with network management tools
- Experience in network segmentation, broadcast domains, spanning tree, VLANs, etc.
- Skilled in all Cisco IP routing protocols like MPLS, VRF, OSPF, iBGP, eBGP
- Knowledgeable in TCP security, Intrusion Detection, AAA Infrastructure, DMZ and VPN management
Desired Qualifications
- Expert level network and security skills
- Good consulting skills
- Good architecture skills
- Experience with SNMP trap configuration and handling
- Management of SSL certs, log management, netflow capture and analysis
- DNS and dynamic DNS configuration
- DHCP configuration and management
- Cisco switch management
- Cisco router configuration
