Job Summary
Experienced Technology Engineer specializing in Network Security and Infrastructure supporting large-scale enterprise networks. Responsibilities include decommissioning IPs, External DNS entries, SSL certificate removal, and service decommissioning; configuration changes across firewalls, load balancers, proxy platforms, micro-segmentation solutions, external DNS infrastructure, and CDN services; planning and executing software upgrades; participating in change management (CR creation, risk assessment, change implementation, CAB approvals); creating and maintaining SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation; troubleshooting and resolving high-priority incidents across firewalls, proxy infrastructure, DNS/CDN services, and DDoS protection; providing guidance to L2 Operations during critical incidents; executing disaster recovery activities and supporting go-live initiatives; involvement in automation validation, early adoption of automation tools, and identifying efficiency improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Network Security and Network Infrastructure operations
- Expertise in Enterprise Firewalls, Load Balancers, Proxy Technologies, Micro-Segmentation Solutions, External DNS Services, CDN Platforms
- SSL Certificates Management
- Strong understanding of Network Security Architecture, Security Operations, Enterprise Infrastructure Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Disaster Recovery Planning
- Experience performing software upgrades and maintenance across network security platforms
- Experience supporting DDoS protection solutions and CDN services
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities
- Experience working with network security management and monitoring platforms
- Exposure to automation tools, automation testing, and operational process improvements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, Cyber Security or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in large-scale environments
- Experience collaborating with operations, engineering, security, and project delivery teams
- Preferred: experience in banking or highly regulated environments
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and operational best practices
