Job Summary
Analyze complex systems, architecture, and network design issues while procuring and performing acceptance testing on equipment. Deploy, install, and implement hardware across CONUS and OCONUS sites, conducting surveys and preparing Technical Design Packages. Configure computers, networking devices, and peripherals, then organize and direct hardware installations while documenting all configuration changes. Prepare site installation reports, evaluate system vulnerabilities, and provide input on end-user devices, servers, and data storage. Independently develop technical standards, analyze operational data to identify failure modes, and recommend improvements to maintain service levels. Ensure all designs meet applicable governmental security specifications and assist in developing system security documentation.
Required Qualifications
- United States Citizenship

- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- customer appropriate polygraph
- Ten (10) years experience as a Network Security Engineer analyzing complex hardware systems on programs and contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity
- Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years of Network Security engineering experience (substitutable for a Bachelor's degree)
- DoD approved 8570 Baseline Certification for IAT Level II
- at least two (2) of the following vendor certifications: Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall Engineer (NGFE), Sonicwall Network Security Certification (Administrator (SNSA) or Professional (SNSP)), Cisco Enterprise Certification (CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE)
