Job Summary
Network Security Architect to lead the security design for a large-scale network consolidation program at a US-based Tier-2 Telco. Responsibilities include translating enterprise security architecture into site-level blueprints, defining target-state architecture for the Network Security domain (including firewall rule consolidation, VRF-based segmentation, and DDoS strategies), consolidating legacy policies into standardized templates, collaborating with client Security and CISO teams for risk alignment and regulatory compliance (e.g., CISA, HIPAA), resolving IP subnet overlaps and routing issues, contributing to architecture governance, and producing reusable LLD templates for automated deployment. Requires 10+ years in enterprise Network Security Architecture, expertise with NAT/PAT, VRF, Zero Trust, major firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco), DDoS mitigation at network edges, and strong communication skills. Includes relocation program and Work From Anywhere culture.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise Network Security Architecture
- strong focus on large-scale firewall migrations and rule consolidation
- deep expertise in NAT/PAT, VRF segmentation, Zero Trust frameworks, and enterprise firewall platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco)
- experience designing and integrating DDoS mitigation and traffic scrubbing solutions at network edges
- ability to translate complex security policies into standardized, reusable Low-Level Design (LLD) templates for automated deployment
- experience with secure client environments (VDI/VPN) and strict change control processes without direct production access
- English proficiency at B2 to C1 level with strong spoken communication skills
