Network Security Administrator

Job Summary

Design, administer, secure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network and hybrid cloud infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless, VPN, firewalls, Azure networking, and connectivity between corporate, remote, correctional, and cloud environments. Administer Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery services while maintaining cybersecurity controls, vulnerability remediation, and incident response capabilities. Participate in threat detection, security investigations, and post-incident reviews, and coordinate infrastructure requirements for new site startups, facility expansions, and cloud migrations. Maintain comprehensive documentation, support secure operations for correctional facilities, and provide technical guidance to IT staff and business users. Perform on-call rotation for after-hours support and outages. This role supports MTC's Job Corps Centers and Correctional Facilities, ensuring reliable network connectivity across corporate, remote, and facility locations.

Required Qualifications

  • in-office at our headquarters in Centerville, Utah
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, cybersecurity, cloud computing, or related field
  • six (6) years of related network, systems, cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity experience
  • Current or actively pursued networking, cloud, infrastructure, or cybersecurity certification
  • Strong hands-on experience with enterprise network administration, routing, switching, wireless, VPN, firewalls, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, virtualization, storage, backup/recovery, Microsoft 365, Azure networking/security, cloud-hosted infrastructure, endpoint protection, logging, vulnerability management, patching, and secure system administration
  • Experience supporting cloud migrations, hybrid network environments, and regulated or contract-driven environments
  • Must be willing and able to travel
  • valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record
