Job Summary
Develop and maintain master project plans, WBS, schedules, and roadmaps for a multi-phase network modernization program. Coordinate design reviews, oversee deployment sequencing, and manage lab validation, field rollouts, and production readiness checks. Maintain risk and dependency registers while coordinating vendor delivery schedules and cross-team alignment. Lead operational readiness reviews, including runbook updates and monitoring integration, and support hardware lifecycle planning. This role leads planning, vendor coordination, and execution of a major airport network infrastructure modernization program, including a 400G backbone deployment. Candidates must have led projects involving 400G, backbone, or MPLS transport modernization.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of technical program/project management experience leading large-scale, complex enterprise technology programs
- Direct experience overseeing high-capacity network infrastructure upgrades, data center expansion programs, or MPLS transport modernization in mission-critical environments
- Proven leadership of cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, architecture, vendor partners, executive stakeholders)
- Active PMP certification (Project Management Institute) required at time of application — must be verifiable
- Risk/issue management and mitigation strategy development
- Testing, validation, and readiness activities (lab validation, pilot deployments, field rollouts, operational acceptance)
- Vendor relationship, SLA, and contract deliverable management
- Design reviews, status reporting, and cross-functional stakeholder communication
- Available on-site a minimum of 4 business days per week for the duration of the engagement
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain required security clearances, badges, and access credentials for a secure facility environment
