Job Summary
Network Operations Manager role leading global network operations with architecture strategy and automation-first thinking. Oversees two network teams (Network Operations & Network Automation), sets long-term roadmaps, and drives resilient, secure, highly available networks across a 24/7 global environment. Responsibilities include guiding incident response, queue health, and escalation across globally distributed networks; designing and enforcing security standards (firewalls, segmentation, encryption); implementing monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks; scaling through automation, IaC, and NetDevOps practices; and collaborating with Platform, Security, and Infra Engineering teams to standardize deployments and CI/CD-style change pipelines. Required capabilities include deep networking expertise (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, VLANs), hands-on experience with Check Point, F5, Cisco, DDoS protection, AWS/VPCs, Kubernetes networking, and strong leadership to drive strategic planning and cross-team alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Senior leadership experience in large-scale network environments
- Experience managing multiple network teams
- Strong technical depth in core networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, STP)
- Experience with Check Point Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, Cisco routers & switches
- Knowledge of AWS cloud networking, VPCs, hybrid connectivity, and Kubernetes networking
- Master Network Automation (Python, Ansible), APIs, IaC, NetDevOps workflows
- Ability to drive incident response, change management, and governance frameworks
- Strong communication with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
