Job Summary
Maintain and monitor functional, secure computer networks including LANs, WANs, the internet, and intranets while establishing standards and evaluating security. Implement highly secure network solutions leveraging VMware, Cisco IOS, Palo Alto Firewalls, Load Balancers, wireless access points, and SD-WAN solutions. Support CUSO Client VPN implementations and vendor/client connectivity across 50+ branch locations and external clients. Analyze, isolate, and remediate issues to ensure security, availability, and performance. Coordinate, plan, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware in a regulated environment.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6+ years Network Operations, Network Engineering, Data Center Management
- 4+ years experience with Management of Palo Alto Firewalls
- 4+ years experience working in a regulated environment providing SOX, PCI, SSAE, NCUA, or FDIC governance
- 1+ years experience in Server administration, Security administration, Cloud and emerging technologies such as Software Defined Networks
- Deep understanding of routing and switching protocols in a highly available data center environment
- Deep knowledge of supporting infrastructure related disaster recovery scenarios
- Expertise managing Software defined networking leveraging VMWare NSX
- Expertise constructing security policies using Palo Alto Firewalls
- Technical problem solving ability using tools including WireShark, vRealize Network Insight, and Panorama
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
- Palo Alto PCNSA
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related topic
- Cisco VoIP or other technical certifications
