Network Operations Center Technician

Job Summary
Monitor network, server, and telecommunications infrastructure while identifying, documenting, and escalating alerts requiring urgent action. Review data backups to ensure system availability, troubleshoot and repair hardware and software, and assist with patch management. Create operational reports, maintain an internal knowledge base, and verify compliance with established IT guidelines. Install and configure computer hardware, recommend process improvements, and support continuous enhancement of IT operations. Requires an associate degree in Information Technology and 3+ years of experience in server administration, virtualization, networking, and databases.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, or equivalent related experience with a focus on systems infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience supporting IT infrastructure, including server administration, support, and implementation
- 3+ years of experience with virtualization, security, networking, databases, and storage technologies
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
