Job Summary
As a Network Operations Center Specialist, you will monitor infrastructure health, perform troubleshooting, and escalate issues to the appropriate IT technicians. Responsibilities include validating alerts, investigating issues, performing routine health checks, monitoring ticket queues for service requests, and generating reports on network performance. The role requires proficiency in managing network devices, understanding of multiple routing protocols, good communication skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year Network Administration experience
- Hands-on experience in managing switches, routers and firewalls
- Knowledge of Cisco IOS, network design and load balancers
- CCNA certification
- Knowledge of routing protocols and transport technologies including BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IPVPN, MPLS, FR, or ATM
- Good English communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions and plans
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of the ITIL framework
- Experience in creating, utilizing, and maintaining technical documentation
- Experience in administering and managing SolarWinds tools
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Wireshark
