Job Summary
Network Operations Center (NOC) on-site at Fort Meade, MD seeking a skilled professional to manage integration of network system management tools, monitor and report on Network Management Systems, and serve as the interface between the customer and DISA management. Responsibilities include performing network monitoring and technical support for LAN/WAN and wireless LAN infrastructure, handling critical and emergency systems administration tasks, ensuring guidance for daily tasks, developing and presenting briefings, preparing correspondence and project status reports, delivering clear written and verbal communications, maintaining deployment/configuration environments, implementing reporting and dashboards, using reporting tools to generate ad-hoc and scheduled reports, onboarding/offboarding network assets, creating twice-daily status and outage reports, documenting significant events in the Master Station Log, creating incident tickets and escalating outages, and tracking outage and VIP tickets, with occasional weekend work as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
- Active DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE) prior to start
- Experience with Active Directory
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience using SharePoint
- Experience with SolarWinds
- Experience with technical writing and reporting
- Experience creating/running ServiceNow ITSM reports
- Knowledge of ITIL V3/V4
- Experience using Vsphere
- Experience briefing Senior Leaders
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of DoD Enterprise IT policies and procedures
- On-site support and occasional weekend work as needed
