Network Operations Center Associate

Job Summary
Monitor the general health of network infrastructure using SolarWinds and diagnose and resolve network issues to maintain system uptime in a 24/7/365 Data Center environment. Escalate technical problems to engineering when necessary and interact with internal and external clients professionally to identify and resolve incidents. Document all issues and resolutions in the ticketing system according to Incident Management Procedures. Report directly to the IT Operations Manager while collaborating regularly with IT support, engineering, and external clients. Work on-site in a structured shift schedule including day shifts, rotating weekends, weekdays, and weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree / Technical Certification in Computer Science or related field, or 1-2 years of network operations experience
- Experience with Cisco equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills
- Security-minded approach to network management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must be available for weekend availability
- Must be able to work Rotating weekends
- Must be able to work Weekdays
- Must be able to work Day shift
- Must be available for on-site work in Louisville, KY
Desired Qualifications
- CCENT Cisco Certification is a plus
