Job Summary
Network Operations Analyst IV responsible for providing senior-level network operations support including LAN/WAN/MAN, security devices, load balancers, and telecommunication connectivity. Key duties include managing shift deliverables, incident/change/problem management, documenting handovers, developing automation opportunities, and mentoring junior staff. Requires strong communication, hands-on experience with Cisco/Aruba/Nexus switches, firewalls (Palo Alto, F5), SDWAN, virtualization (VMware NSX), and network tooling (SevOne, NetBrain, Infoblox, ExtraHop, ThousandEyes); CCNA with 5+ years or CCNP with 3+ years in production environments; technology degree/diploma or equivalent. On-site in Barrie, Ontario, Canada with rotating 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- CCNA or CCNP certification
- 5+ years in Network Operations/Production environment (for CCNA) or 3+ years (for CCNP)
- Technology Degree/Diploma or equivalent work experience
- CCNA certified with minimum of 5 years work experience in Network Operations/Production environment, or CCNP certified with minimum of 3 years work experience in Network Operations/Production environment
- CCDP and ITIL certifications are a definite asset
