Job Summary
Cultivate and manage relationships with a referral network to build a pipeline of new mortgage business and increase market share. Actively identify sales opportunities, refer clients to colleagues, and execute marketing programs to drive results. Proactively contact sources through national or local partnerships to discuss home financing solutions and assist with targeted promotions. Guide customers through mortgage applications and processing, resolving issues to ensure timely fund advancement while delivering exceptional service. Analyze data to provide insights, generate reports, and recommend solutions that align with business strategy. Liaise with internal teams and customers to fulfill application requirements, documenting updates in systems to track opportunities and transactions. Execute routine tasks within service level agreements while maintaining operational integrity and adhering to regulatory policies.
Required Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Credit Qualifications and associated credit knowledge and skills according to the credit portfolio requirements and qualification standards
- In-depth understanding of the mortgage lending process and applicable regulatory requirements
- Strong interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills
- Expert knowledge of self-management and teamwork, personal lending, relationship sales and management
- Functional knowledge of personal banking, investments, trust services, business and commercial lending, and cash management
- Strong knowledge of the broader real estate industry and mortgage market
- Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience
