Network Mgmt Consultant

Job Summary
Develop network recruitment and retention strategies to ensure high-quality contracted provider maintenance. Identify, research, and analyze professional provider practice patterns to develop improvement recommendations. Conduct provider outreach, community partnership development, educational presentations, and referral network coordination throughout Connecticut, including rural areas. Collaborate with behavioral health providers, primary care practices, and community organizations to strengthen referral networks and improve access to services. Requires a BA/BS degree with three years in provider network management or utilization management; master's degree or clinical licensure preferred. Full-time, non-management exempt role with hybrid onsite requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Reside in the state of Connecticut
- BA/BS degree
- Minimum of 3 years experience in provider network management, utilization management or other health care field
- Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
- Work Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (EST)
- Be in-office 1 - 2 days per week
- Be within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s)
- Become vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, public health, human services, or a related field
- Clinical licensure in social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field
- Experience in community engagement, systems of care development, provider outreach, and resource coordination
- Knowledge of Connecticut behavioral health resources, community-based organizations, and systems of care
- Experience conducting provider education, presentations, community outreach, conferences, or exhibit activities
