Job Summary
Coordinate the supply of materials across the Food BU network, manage inventory and purchase orders to align with production schedules, and plan product families to optimize stock levels and service goals. Collaborate with BU Network Schedulers to align material requirements with production schedules, review network raw/pack demand, issue purchase orders, and work with vendors on move in/out strategies based on inventory and production needs. Implement inventory control measures to minimize carrying costs and provide input on material availability and lead times for production planning. Requires 2+ years in materials planning and 3+ years in scheduling/materials planning, strong data-analysis and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with SAP ECC, BW, and Rapid Response.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in materials planning roles
- 3+ years of work experience in scheduling and materials planning roles
- Able to analyze data, draw reasonable conclusions, and formulate next steps
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional communication
- Experience using Advanced Planning software tools such as SAP ECC, BW, and Rapid Response
- Bachelor’s Degree
