Job Summary
Lead West Coast network engagement for Equal Justice Works, building and sustaining relationships with sponsors, host organizations, law schools, and alumni. Serve as the regional lead for the Design Your Own Legal Fellowship Program, managing and growing fellowship sponsorships and coordinating with law schools and the broader legal sector. Drive stakeholder experiences through supporting Fellows and host organizations, engaging Alumni, and contributing to EJW’s fellowship and law school networking strategy. Collaborate with Programs to support sponsor relations, deliver sponsor presentations, prepare reports and alumni booklets, and coordinate cross-unit fundraising activities including multi-year sponsorships and events. Demonstrate JD and legal work capability, cultivate fundraising and sponsorships, and communicate effectively to advance EJW’s mission and public service leadership goals. Previous experience in fundraising, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of public interest law are highly valued; strong project management and teamwork skills are required, with a growth mindset and commitment to DEI.”,
Required Qualifications
- JD and legal work experience required
- Law firm or in-house pro bono experience preferred
- Five years of related progressively complex professional experience preferred
- Knowledge of the public interest law sector required, including understanding of social justice issues and familiarity with nonprofit organizations
