Job Summary
Manage enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring availability, capacity, and performance across all sites and enclaves. Oversee WAN/LAN design, optimization, and monitoring, while coordinating firewall, router, and VPN configurations. Lead incident resolution for network outages and degradations, ensuring compliance with CIO network standards and security baselines. Support the Department of Transportation with day shift Monday through Friday schedules, including potential evening and weekend requests. Travel 30% within the Washington Metro Area.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of network engineering with 3+ in management
- Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments
- Experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations
- Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape
- Cisco CCNP/CCIE
- CompTIA Security+
- Bachelor's in information technology, Network Engineering, or related field
- Public Trust – Moderate Risk
- U.S. Citizen
- Public Trust – Moderate Risk
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs
- Must be available for 30% travel within WMA
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
