Job Summary
Network Manager responsible for design, implementation, security, monitoring, and lifecycle management of the district-wide network and core infrastructure; leads network and security operations, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity across multiple sites with responsibility for WAN/LAN/WLAN, Cisco infrastructure, virtualization, directory services, DNS/DHCP, Firewalls, and compliance workflows; requires collaboration with vendors and ongoing documentation, change management, disaster recovery planning, and budget planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise network and server infrastructure administration
- Experience designing and supporting LAN, WLAN, and WAN in a multi-site environment
- Experience managing Cisco enterprise switching, routing, and wireless infrastructure
- Experience managing virtualization platforms and on-premises server infrastructure
- Experience administering directory services, DNS, DHCP, authentication systems, and access control practices
- Experience managing firewalls, network security systems, and secure configuration standards
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles related to network and server infrastructure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Current Act 34, Act 151 and FBI Fingerprint clearances
