Job Summary
Monitor and maintain network infrastructure and connectivity while supporting the configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and network devices under supervision. Prepare and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, IP planning sheets, and asset records, and develop standard operating procedures for failover and link procedures. Assist with network implementation, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities while collaborating with the Network team to ensure smooth and secure operations. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields and proficiency in Visio, Excel, and Word.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of Networking Fundamentals, OSI & TCP/IP models, and IP Addressing & Subnetting
- Understanding of Routing (Static, Default Routes) and Switching concepts (MAC Table, VLANs, Trunking)
- Familiarity with ARP, ICMP, DNS, and DHCP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio/draw.io, MS Excel, and MS Word
- Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills
