Job Summary
Plan, design, and integrate Joint and Multinational communications networks for Army exercises and missions, including JWA and JADC2/MPE architectures. Provide system-level analyses, guidance on ABCS/SUE/SUT/demonstration systems, and manage configuration/versioning across software, hardware, firmware, and digital waveforms. Develop data products and reporting using Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; design data-gathering approaches and coordinate with DoD/DA/contractors to meet client requirements. Lead Change Requests, maintain documentation, and brief government officials on architecture constraints and workarounds. Requires active SECRET clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and travel ~15–20% annually.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. SECRET clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in planning, integrating, and maintaining Army Brigade/Division-level communications networks
- Expertise in developing communication network architectures
- Expertise in MS Office applications
- Expertise in Access database and Visual Basic
- Expertise in integrating Army ABCS mission command systems and Joint constructive simulations
- Travel: Approximately 15% - 20% per year
