Job Summary
Network Install Technician at Telos Corporation responsible for designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining wired and wireless LANs; performing site surveys, ensuring IT/network operation and security, managing IP space, and providing end-user support. Requires DoD Secret or Public Trust clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level I/II, 6+ years experience with high school plus specialized training, and certifications (CCNA/CWNP or similar a plus). Must support 24/7 operations with shift and weekend work; basic technical writing and documentation duties; familiarity with Aruba gear and network hardware; contributes to enterprise IT environment security and availability.
Required Qualifications
- DoD Secret Clearance or Public Trust clearance
- High School plus specialized training, and 6+ yrs of experience
- DoD 8570 IAT Level I or Level II compliant
- CCNA or CWNP or similar certifications a plus
- General networking and network administration experience
- Technical writing skills with MS Office (Visio)
- Understanding of TR, CAT 6, crimps, and wiring standards
- BICSI certification a plus
