Job Summary
Rack, cable, and commission network hardware to approved designs while configuring switching, routing, and segmentation to established security standards. Apply firmware, patch, and lifecycle maintenance across the network estate, then implement and validate network security controls and segmentation boundaries. Document all configurations within established change control processes. This work supports the delivery of a complex project in Canberra for Opes, requiring an NV2+ cleared contractor with hands-on enterprise network build experience.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on build and configuration experience across enterprise network platforms
- Strong switching and routing fundamentals, including segmentation and VLAN design implementation
- Experience delivering network infrastructure in secure or regulated environments
- A disciplined approach to documentation and change control
- Current Australian Government security clearance at NV2 or above
