Job Summary
Network Implementation Engineer responsible for site surveys and creating structured designs for the customer’s network in support of voice, data, security, and audio/visual systems; design engineered drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical documents; coordinate with IT, facilities, project teams, clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers to analyze requirements and develop system designs, estimates, implementation plans, and management/customer reports; implement final network solutions to support on-prem and cloud environments and produce all supporting documentation; requires 5+ years of DoD network engineering experience, TS/SCI clearance, IAT II, HS diploma or GED, and readiness to travel up to 25%; compensation range $61,900–$141,000 annually; full-time role with Booz Allen, including opportunities and benefits described in posting.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED
- DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification
- 5+ years of experience providing implementation and engineering support for DoD enterprise networks
- Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS up to 25%
- Experience with routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, STP, L3VPNs)
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree preferred or as noted in description
