Network Engineering Manager

Job Summary
Lead and hands-on network engineering for enterprise/data center infrastructure as a player-coach, remaining actively involved in design, reviews, and implementation of network solutions. Serve as a technical authority for complex routing, switching, and data‐center issues; participate in architecture reviews, configuration validation, and major production changes. Own routing strategy (BGP/OSPF) and DCI/edge connectivity design; lead data center interconnect efforts; mentor a globally distributed team; establish standards, documentation, and best practices. Key focus areas include Cisco ACI and NX-OS, spine-leaf data centers, policy (APIC), tenants/EPGs, lifecycle upgrades, and maintenance of resiliency and scalability. Be accountable for incident RCAs and long-term platform evolution, while balancing delivery, operational stability, and people development.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise or data center environments
- 2+ years of experience managing engineers, ideally across multiple regions
- Strong expertise in Cisco ACI and NX-OOS
- BGP and OSPF routing
- Data center, edge, and DCI architectures
- Proven ability to balance technical execution and people leadership
