Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end operation, security, and strategy of voice and data communications networks, managing team provisioning, compliance, vulnerability remediation, and capacity planning. Champion the regional network budget while liaising with business leadership, global teams, and Security to meet organizational expectations. Oversee infrastructure maintenance, implement hardware and software upgrades, and ensure all activities comply with security protocols and service level agreements. Handle day-to-day operational support, incident management, and participate in an after-hours support roster to facilitate 24/7 production services. Drive operational excellence through automation, AI, and standardization.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of proven experience managing a highly productive network or infrastructure team
- 10+ years of proven experience in the management of voice and data networks, including provisioning and capacity planning
- Demonstrated experience in planning, scheduling, and implementing network hardware and software upgrades
- Proven track record in managing relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Hands-on background in incident management and troubleshooting complex network and other infrastructure issues
- Direct experience ensuring network compliance with strict security policies and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Experience developing long-term policies and strategies for enterprise network standards
- Ability to participate in an agreed after-hours support roster for 24/7 production services
Desired Qualifications
- Cloud Certification (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Demonstrated practical skills in Change Management and Process Improvement
- Proven negotiation and influence skills regarding vendor and supplier management
- A willingness to drive AI usage to transform operational processes and team productivity
- Operational experience in tangential parts of infrastructure (servers, Active Directory, public cloud, virtualization technologies, etc)
- Experience managing both local (in-country) and remote employees in a different country
