Job Summary
Maintain computer networks including routers, switches, VPNs, and Aruba wireless hardware while executing Wi-Fi RF planning, site surveys, and tuning. Implement and monitor robust network security measures such as 802.1X and ClearPass authentication, then create firewall rules and update software to protect data. Provide on-site support for installations and deliver Tier 2/3 support to diagnose wireless connectivity issues. Participate in on-call rotation, report network status to stakeholders, and update equipment to latest firmware. Ability to work overtime and travel overnight required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ year of network related work experience
- Possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to execute excellent customer service relationship skills
- Ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions
- Strong documentation skills
- Experience in the implementation and operation of wireless networks
- Prior experience providing network administration
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to travel overnight
- No job hopper
