Job Summary
The Network Engineer will design, implement, and provide operational support for enterprise WAN, LAN, wireless, and secure connectivity solutions within a corporate network. The role leads technical delivery of network projects from design through implementation and handover, creates detailed network designs and documentation, analyzes performance and capacity, and provides third-level support for complex incidents. Collaboration with Information Security, project teams, and vendors is essential, with emphasis on secure networking principles, policy enforcement, and automation using Python and network automation tools. Mentorship and knowledge sharing are expected to improve network reliability, scalability, and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise network engineering
- Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
- Advanced understanding of Cisco routing and switching in large enterprise environments
- Advanced knowledge of Arista switching
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise WAN, LAN, wireless, MPLS, and TCP/IP networking
- Advanced experience with Cisco VPN networking
- Strong troubleshooting, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
